Killybegs Marine Cluster, in partnership with Causeway, will host an in-person event on March 31–April 1, 2025, in Killybegs, Ireland. The event, part of a two-event series, focuses on accessible supply chain opportunities for SMEs in offshore renewable energy. Highlights include sessions on emerging contracts, cross-border collaborations, and advancements in floating technology, port developments, and cybersecurity. Attendees will network with industry leaders, explore partnership opportunities, and visit SMEs already succeeding in the sector.

Many events have focused on the larger macro development plans for offshore renewable energy. These are vital to highlighting the scale of the opportunity, and the scale of the supply chain challenge.
These 2 events will now focus on the smaller accessible opportunities in the supply chain for SMEs – opportunities that are indeed ‘large’ and very significant for SMEs.
The events will shine a light on the darker corners of the supply chain, and the smaller accessible opportunities that SMEs don’t fully understand and can’t see …. yet!
Our two-event series is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland to
- Build knowledge/understanding of the accessible supply chain opportunities for SMEs
- Identify and start to cultivate potential collaboration opportunities between SMEs in Ireland and Scotland.
